It seems that everywhere I go, people want to know if traveling is a necessary part of a speakers job. Let me answer that question with a powerful statement, I love to travel and have never thought of it as something that I HAD to do, but only as one of the great perks of my profession. When I look back over my videos that I’ve taken in the different airports, the different cities that I’ve visited all over the world, the many wonderful people that I’ve met, the unique experiences that I’ve had, and the absolute marvelous education that I’ve gained from traveling, I have decided that travel is not a necessity. It is without a doubt, the most wonderful part of this profitable profession.
Is Traveling A Must?People are asking me all the time, “Are you still doing seminars in this bad economy?”
My answer is an emphatic “YES”!
With more and more people realizing that they cannot rely on the security of their job, I feel that it’s my duty to help as many people make more profit as I can.
While the whole economy is down and most people are feeling some type of impact, the ones that are going strong are the people that have build their own businesses on solid practices and are staying flexible. They don’t have to be at the mercy of their employer and they are not tied into a rigidly structured business that does not allow flexibility.
This is the reason why the speaking business is such a great vehicle to get you through the bad economy.
