As I am reaching the age of retirement, I realize that the money I have made is insignificant compared to other important things in life. (I do rank money as important) The relationships that I have made, the friends that are still with me, my family members, and my mental mindset are probably the most important things in my life. Of the important things and people in my life, my mindset is probably the only one that I can control by myself.

I get up everyday and have to make a decision, “Will I decide to have a positive day (which I can control) or will I decide to watch what happens and let other people decide my life?” I decide to take control of what happens.
